Life as we know it

It's been a while since I sat down and blogged.  I can think of a lot of different reasons as to why I didn't sit down and pen a few lines, the list goes on.  Looking within, I realise the reason I could not write was because there was so much turmoil within myself that it it was too emotional to actually write coherently.

A friend for life

Always by your side,
Never ahead or behind you,
Sharing the limelight with you,
Or in the shadows supporting you.

A true friend

The world has become one large city and we have friends from all over the world.  Social networking sites have taken the concept of friendship to a new level, there are people with thousands of friends on their friend list and there are those who have just a few friends.
